My absolute must haves for any beauty bag
I cannot live without my collection of NARS blushes. My must haves colors are Desire, Exhibit A and Taj Mahal! All of the NARS blushes have intense pigments and staying power.
Playing up my clients eyes are always my favorite for professional television or print work. I love Urban Decay’s original Naked Palette! It is a great bang for your buck, tons of colors that look good on all skin tones and travels great! The Naked 2 Pallet has a little too much iridescent for most of my professional HD makeup work, but is still good for everyday wear. And now there’s even a Naked 3, with more rose colored hues. Enjoy!
What is a dramatic eye without a great liner?!? I go classic and black with Bobbie Brown’s black gel liner. But I like to also have the Bobbie Brown Espresso Ink on hand for when I do not want as dramatic or on someone with a fair complexion. This is perfect for a cat eye.
Finishing off that perfect pout. I have to admit that I am that girl that has about 50 plus lip glosses. I am sure there is support group for this affliction, but until then I will continue to buy away. Here are just a few of my favs:
Too many color favs to even list!
The color Giggle looks good on every shade of skin.
A new go to in the winter is Josie Maran’s Argan Hydrating Lip Quenches.
Also love Smashbox’s eyeshadow palettes. They continue to come out with highly pigmented and reasonably priced palettes perfect for pros or the everyday girl.
Palette even for the “non professional”:
Another great bang for your buck is Smashbox’s The Master Class Palette II. What makes it great is that it has 28 Photo Op Eye Shadows, four cream eyeliners, fives blushes, one bronzer, two soft lights for just $59. Just be careful with this pallet because the package itself is not the best. I would not recommend traveling with this palette. Just wish the package was as good as the product inside!
Graftobian HD Pro Powder™
Every perfect complexion must have a good start. Here is the foundation and powder I cannot live without. Graftobian is a professional makeup line, but it the absolutely the best foundation and powder I’ve ever tried. Sign up for a private makeup lesson with me to find out your perfect shade. I do not sell any makeup products, but I can help you find the color you need to order, since it is only available online.
One can never beat Laura Mercier’s holiday books. They are always to die for.
I always stock up on Laura Mercier’s Mini Lip Glacé Collection every holiday for my makeup as well for my personal makeup bag. The small 2.8 ounce lip glosses are perfect for even the smallest bag clutch for a night out on the town. My only complaint is I have noticed that the price continues to go up each year on this collection. And since I buy them for myself every year, I just hope it hits a ceiling soon so I can continue my obsession!
*Please note, I am a celebrity professional makeup artist. I do NOT represent any makeup products nor do I work for any makeup line. Therefore, I am not getting paid to promote any of the products above. These are just my favorites from years of testing products before finding “the one” I cannot live without! I kind of think of it like dating until you meet the man you marry.
